Responsibility - Assigning specific safety responsibilities to personnel to ensure that all levels of management and field personnel are conducting work in a safe manner.
Compliance - Developing and enforcing specific health and safety procedures and rules, and requiring that employees cooperate with these rules as a condition of employment.
Communication - Communicating with employees on matters relating to occupational health and safety, including provisions designed to encourage employees to inform management of hazards at the work place without fear of reprisal.
Hazard Assessment - Conducting health and safety inspections to find, eliminate, and control project hazards, unsafe work conditions and/or practices, and to fully comply with the health and standards on every job.
Accident/Exposure Investigation - Investigating promptly and thoroughly, every accident to determine their root cause the effect they have on the Company and employees.
Hazard Correction - Correcting hazards in a timely manner, and modifying construction methods and safety systems to prevent accidents from occurring.
Training and Instruction - Training all employees in appropriate health and safety practices.
Record keeping - Maintaining a current archive of pertinent safety documentation.
Emergency Response Procedures - Providing employees guidelines to response to emergencies.
Occupational Medical Program - Implementing a system whereby employees are medically qualified and monitored when working near physical hazards and hazardous substances, and providing resources to respond to medical emergencies.
Protective Equipment - Providing personal protective equipment and employee training for its use and care in order to guard employees from project hazards.
Code of Safe Practices - Providing general safety guidelines which informs and reminds employees of the minimum safety rules that must be followed on every project site.
